The End of AdWords Reseller Program

Looks like the gravy train is coming to an end for companies known as Google "authorized resellers". companies like AT&T, Verizon, Yodle, ReachLocal and Yellowbook will need to find a new way of making money online as Google looks to clean up this indusrty. There have been concerns for some time that more transparency is needed from the resellers as markups are rumored to be in the 40-60% range. "Most small business owners would stop advertising if they new the markup was over 50% in many cases." With the bright light from Mt. View shining on the "resellers" will they now scurry like roaches when the lights come on and come clean with their advertisers? Does Google have another plan to service this giant customer base thats been created from the "reseller" relationships? Will Atlanta SEO Optimization become the next big small business marketing tool in Atlanta? Shoot us an email with your thoughts.
